Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made through the KORT mobile application ("App") and the website located at kortsports.com ("Site"), collectively referred to as the "Services". By making a purchase through our Services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.

Subscription Plans

KORT offers subscription-based plans that provide access to premium features within the App. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected) and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • You were charged after cancelling your subscription before the renewal date;
  • You experienced a technical issue that prevented you from accessing the premium features you paid for, and we were unable to resolve the issue;
  • You were charged an incorrect amount due to a billing error;
  • Duplicate charges were made for the same subscription period.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription fees for periods during which you had access to and used the premium features;
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle after the cancellation window;
  • Purchases made more than 14 days prior to the refund request, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at contact@distanttech.com with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address associated with your KORT account;
  • The date and amount of the charge;
  • The reason for your refund request;
  • Any relevant screenshots or documentation supporting your request.

Processing Time

We will review your refund request and respond within 7 business days. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

App Store and Google Play Purchases

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds are subject to the respective store's refund policies. We recommend contacting Apple or Google directly for refund requests related to purchases made through their platforms:

  • Apple App Store: Visit Apple's support page to request a refund for App Store purchases.
  • Google Play Store: Visit Google Play's support page to request a refund for Google Play purchases.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App settings or through the subscription management settings of your device (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to premium features until that date. No further charges will be applied after cancellation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about our refund practices.
